Anjan Gupta, MD, FACC, FSCAI

Board Certifications: Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology
Dr. Gupta earned his medical degree in India at the University of Calcutta Medical College. After residency training there, Dr. Gupta completed an internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation before coming to Milwaukee. In Milwaukee, he completed 3 years of a basic cardiovascular diseases fellowship as well as a year of interventional cardiology training. Newly appointed as Associate Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program, Dr. Gupta joined our group in 2000 after completing fellowships in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease at Aurora Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Gupta is co-author of numerous reviews on the subject of peripheral vascular disease, Current Problems in Cardiology, published in two parts by Mosby, Inc., in 1998, and most recently in Endovascular Today (February 2007).
His awards and honors include Outstanding Research Presentation by a Resident Physician, awarded by the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 1996, and a Bristol-Myers Squibb Fellowship Award in Cardiology, awarded by the American College of Cardiology in 2000. He resides in Franklin with his wife and two daughters.
