Sinai Medical Center, now Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee with one full-time electrophysiologist on staff, Masood Akhtar, MD.

Dr. Zalmen Blanck joined our faculty in 1992. From 1992 to 1995, he was Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at Zablocki Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Milwaukee. He received the "Best Medical Student of the Year" award in all 4 years that he attended the National Autonomous University of Mexico, in Mexico City.

Dr. Blanck has published almost 50 original manuscripts and 50 abstracts in addition to 30 reviews and book chapters. Other than the United States, Dr. Blanck has lectured in Brazil and Mexico on a variety of arrhythmia topics and device therapy for congestive heart failure.
