Prakash Shah, MD, PhD, FACC
Board Certifications: Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease
Dr. Shah was born in Asmara, Eritrea. He attended St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI. His postgraduate training was at the Department of Microbiology at the University of Chicago where he attained a masters of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology. He was one of the youngest graduates to obtain a Ph.D. at the age of 21. He completed a research fellowship, attended medical school, and completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He was awarded the Presidential Award in Research by the Reticuloendothelial Society. He is board certified in Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Shah and his family live in the Kenosha area where he practices clinical and invasive cardiology.
